Bobby Womack is up there with the greats: Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and Aretha and that in itself makes this worth posting. His voice is raw and real and despite the cancer he's facing, you really can't tell it in his voice. This version makes only gentle changes to the one that will feature on his album The Bravest Man In The Universe to be released on the 11th June on XL, but if anything, it's closer to his previous material which contrasts to the scratches and sampling on the original. It's pretty cool that XL are bringing this legend to a new audience and that the Gorillaz collaboration on Stylo wasn't a one off; he's still relevant.
