I couldn't wait a few days. I've been saying since the Leave (Get Out) days she was a vocal beast, but no one could hear me over their own witty jibes about her hamster cheeks and sneaker heels. Now she's all grown up and on the second single she's released this year, it seems like Jojo is finally giving us the "life" or the grown-up, 'lady in the streets, freak in the sheets' attitude that everyone has been waiting for since her Marvin's room cover. Saying that, you can hear 40 aka Noah Shebib's input in the production. It's the thick-set r&b vibe that wouldn't be too unfamilar on a Ciara single. Most singers would drown in it, but Jojo delivers nothing but class, riffs and all that good stuff that commands every ounce of your attention. Highlights include those low notes that send a shiver down your spine, dripping from the sheer exhilaration. (I warned you this was a fan-girl post).
