Kwabs and I have had an emotional journey (despite the fact that he knows nothing about it). To me his voice embodies wisdom; in every note he sings, you can tell he just knows. It's like he's seen the whole of the world and he's imparting his knowledge to the rest of us through his bird's eye view. That is, if you think that someone's voice can do that.
Every single song is drenched with such identifiable emotion that I am starting to think that his music doesn't really exist but rather everything that is in my mind, which has been translated sonically and everyone is listening to my thoughts aloud. It feels as though the song has always existed, but this is the first time I have heard it in its tangible form.
The juxtaposition of his voice and the production only communicates further that if you don't get it by melody and lyric alone, the squeals of SOHN will help you understand what's in his (and my) head.
